Scholarship 2010 Winners!


The Kaiserslautern American German Business Club (AGBC) proudly announces the winners of its 2010 Scholarship program.

The two 1000 Euro winners are Dillon Wadsack, and Fabian Schwahn.

The three honorable mention 500 Euro winners are John C. Frank, Lukas Frey, and Fabian Kircher.

The scholarship winners were recognized at the 15th anniversary dinner meeting of the Kaiserslautern AGBC on Monday evening, 26 April, in the conference center of the Fritz Walter Stadium.

In addition, the winners were also presented with additional 100 Euro checks as provided by the German American International Women's Club at the anniversary dinner.

Dillon Wadsack is a senior at Ramstein American High School and resides in Kottweiler-Schwanden. He is planning to attend college and study Business. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, volunteering at the Special Olympics and being a translator for the participants and their helpers. He would like to be a "manager of his own business and set up basketball camps all throughout Germany." This will allow for Germans and Americans to play and learn the game of basketball together.

Fabian Schwahn is from Kaiserslautern, with his hometown being Worms. He is studying Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. He is an active member of the organization AIESEC. "The goal of this organization is to improve intercultural relations" by helping people do internships in other countries.

John C. Frank is a graduate of Kaiserslautern American High School and is majoring in Computer Science at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Lukas Frey, from Kaiserslautern and whose hometown in Neustadt. is a student at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern studying Economics and Electrotechnology.

Fabian Kircher, currently living in Kaiserslautern and from his hometown in Puttlingen, is a student at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern studying Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.

The Kaiserslautern American German Business Club congratulates these students and wish them well in their studies and future business careers.
